On May 14th the Carlsbad High School Energy Lab transformed into a showcase of talent for our 2026 Reverse Career Fair!

We flipped the traditional career fair model upside down. Instead of students wandering past employer booths, local industry partners came directly to our students to see them in action.

A special congratulations is in order for our 9 seniors graduating the Energy Pathway this year as official CTE Completers! Alongside our juniors, these incredible seniors spent the morning running live technical demonstrations—operating centrifugal pump trainers, wiring DC circuits, and explaining applied math and science concepts—while presenting their professional portfolios. Whether they are heading straight into the workforce, seeking apprenticeships, looking for college internships, or pitching senior capstone mentorships, our students proved they are industry-ready.

A massive thank you to the local employers who attended, interviewed, and networked with our students. We are incredibly proud of the hard work and professionalism these students showed!
